DEFEA 2027 expands international reach ahead of defence exhibition in Greece

Preparations for Defence Exhibition Athens (DEFEA) 2027 are progressing rapidly, with strong international interest and returning participation from across the global defence and security community.

Scheduled to take place from 18–20 May 2027 at Metropolitan Expo, Athens, DEFEA continues to strengthen its position as one of Europe’s leading international defence and security exhibitions. The event offers direct access to governmental authorities, procurement officials, armed forces, industry leaders, and official delegations from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

DEFEA is a high-profile international exhibition dedicated to Land, Sea, Air, Space, Cyber, and National Security defence systems, bringing together major Greek and international companies under one platform. The 4th edition of DEFEA will be held under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence by ROTA Exhibitions Greece, with the support of the Association of Hellenic Manufacturers for Defence Material (SEKPY).

The exhibition will showcase a full spectrum of defence and security systems, equipment, and solutions, supported by live displays and demonstrations. In addition to the main exhibition, DEFEA 2027 will host a wide range of parallel events, including conferences, seminars, round tables, strategic discussions, DEFEA Academy sessions, and B2B and B2G business meetings.

The strength of the event is already evident from the success of DEFEA 2025, which firmly established the exhibition as a major international defence event in Europe. The third edition brought together 436 leading defence exhibitors from 37 countries and 18 national pavilions, while welcoming 30,137 business visitors from 92 countries. The event also hosted 106 official international delegations represented at the highest political and military levels, providing exhibitors with exceptional access to key decision-makers.
