SeguridadExpo, organized by FISA, part of the GL events Chile Group, and co-organized by the Carabineros de Chile, will take place at Metropolitan Santiago and will expand its exhibition space for its next edition, welcoming new companies and strengthening its focus on security solutions for large-scale events.
The security industry’s current boom will be on full display at the next edition of SeguridadExpo. The event, scheduled for September 8–10, 2026, will expand its exhibition space in response to high demand from companies interested in participating.
“Due to the success in selling exhibition spaces for the 2026 edition of SeguridadExpo, we found it necessary to expand the floor space we occupy. It is nearly 35% larger than the previous edition, which allows us to welcome a significant number of new companies that were unable to attend last year because we did not have the space to accommodate them,” said Rodrigo Bastidas, the fair’s manager.
“We want to reaffirm that the fair continues to be in a very strong position, and we hope that the entire industry will come together to showcase their solutions across the various product lines, goods, and services that the fair traditionally features,” added Bastidas.
The expansion will allow new players to join the exhibition and broaden the range of available solutions, in a context where security continues to diversify across different areas and levels of application.
“You can find solutions ranging from very basic home security or personal protection items to the most sophisticated and autonomous devices on the market. I believe that is what makes this trade show unique,” he explained.
“For example, when it comes to armor, I can buy a security film for my car windows, or I can have a larger vehicle armored to NATO military ballistic standards,” he elaborated.
Along with the exhibition, the trade show will once again host its conference, featuring representatives from various industry associations. The conference will address topics such as border security, organized crime, prison management, and—a key focus of this year’s event—security at large-scale events.
This last point is gaining momentum given the growing number of high-attendance events, such as concerts, fairs, sporting events, and large-scale gatherings, where the implementation of adequate security systems has become a critical factor for their operation.
“We are once again confirming the participation of various industry associations in the conference, where we will address the key issues that are currently pressing in the world of security,” Bastidas noted.
